NORTHWESTERN ENERGY – LEGACY TREE CONTEST RULES
SPONSOR AND ORGANIZER: The sponsor of the NorthWestern Energy Legacy Tree Contest (“Contest”) is NorthWestern Corporation d/b/a NorthWestern Energy, 3010 West 69th Street, Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57108 (“NorthWestern”). The organizer is Flynn Wright, 1408 Locust St., Des Moines, Iowa 50309 (“Organizer”).
TERM: The Contest begins March 1, 2017 at 12:00 am Central Time and ends April 14, 2017, 11:59 pm Central Time.
WHO MAY ENTER: The Contest is free to enter and open to all active and in good standing NorthWestern electric and gas customers who have reached the age of majority in Montana, Nebraska and South Dakota. Employees and immediate family members of the Organizer and NorthWestern are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Contest, complete the registration form at www.northwesternenergy.com with your name, email address, birth date and any required questions. The Organizer will determine if an entry meets the requirements of these rules. Entries that do not include all the required information or adhere to these rules will be considered void. One entry per household permitted.
CONTEST PRIZE: Two hundred and seventy-five (275) individual gift certificates in the amount of $200 to local nurseries in the NorthWestern service area for a tree of your choice. Participants agree to plant the tree within the NorthWestern service area.
AWARD: The Contest winners will be selected at random by Organizer. Winners will be notified the week of April 24, 2017.
CONDITIONS: THIS CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. By submitting an entry, participants agree that the decisions of NorthWestern and the Organizer are final and binding with respect to all matters relating to the Contest and that NorthWestern may use the entry and each entrant’s name in any media, publicity or advertising without compensation. Winners authorize NorthWestern’s use of his or her name and likeness in advertising and any media, and also to post on northwesternenergy.com and other social media channels. All federal, state and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. In the event any selected winner is ineligible, refuses the prize, cannot be located or does not respond within ten days to a winner notification, the prize will be forfeited and NorthWestern, in its sole discretion, may choose whether to award the prize to another entrant. NorthWestern reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant and to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest.
