NorthWestern Energy Offers Energy Efficiency Training, Scholarships Aimed at Building Managers

Butte, Mont. – Oct. 14, 2015 – NorthWestern Energy is offering valuable energy efficiency training for commercial and industrial customers and trade allies in Montana with several sessions set to begin soon.

NorthWestern is also offering tuition scholarships to some qualified participants. The first opportunity, Building Operator Certification training, is an eight-day, Level 1 course spread over three blocks of time. Registration is now being accepted for training at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort on October 20—22, November 10-12 and December 8-9. The registration deadline for the Building Operator Certification training is 4 p.m., Monday, Oct. 19. Tuition scholarships are offered for personnel from nonprofit hospitals, public schools and units of state and local government.

Registration is also being accepted for Energy Efficiency for Data Centers on October 28 in Helena. The registration deadline is October 24.

 An Efficient and Effective Industrial Lighting session will be held on November 12 in Billings. The registration deadline is October 29.

Such training is rarely available in Montana and is being offered by NorthWestern Energy and the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance.  To get more details, including course descriptions and registration details, go to the NorthWestern Energy website:
