Great Falls, Mont. – April 24, 2025 – NorthWestern Energy presented $1,800 to NeighborWorks Great Falls and $1,800 to Family Promise Great Falls raised from our  “Make a Basket, Make a Difference” pop-a-shot basketball game at the Great Falls Home & Garden Show and Sale, March 28-30, at Montana Expo Park.

For every basket made, NorthWestern Energy donated $1 to the organizations.

“Our thanks to all who stopped by our booth and participated,” said NorthWestern Energy Community Relations Manager Shane Etzwiler. “We are honored to support the important services NeighborWorks and Family Promise provide for our community.”

"We are extremely thankful to Northwestern Energy for choosing us as a recipient of their donation,” said Family Promise Great Falls Executive Director Greg Grosnick. “It is truly a pleasure to work alongside such generous organizations here in Great Falls."

Family Promise of Great Falls has worked for a decade to end childhood homelessness, one family at a time. In 2024 Family Promise provided $1,300 of assistance for families for energy bills.

NeighborWorks Great Falls provides education and financing that gives Montanans the opportunity to live in a home where they can thrive.
