Developing a new subdivision?
We can help plan electric and natural gas service for a whole subdivision or other major project.
Steps to obtain new service:
- Complete the online Construction Application.
- A NorthWestern Energy representative will contact you to schedule a meeting on site.
- NorthWestern Energy will prepare a quote and customer agreement.
- You will need to complete the customer agreement and pay the quoted amount in order for NorthWestern to proceed with the work.
- After receipt of customer agreement and payment, we will schedule your project.
- We will contact you to set up your new account.
- We will communicate the schedule and complete the work.

You can pay a construction bill through our online one-time payment system. Select "Non-Utility Bill" to make your payment.
