Our Net Zero Vision
Our Net Zero Vision
We've set a goal to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050 while continuing our commitment to reliable, affordable, environmentally sustainable energy service, capable of meeting the needs of all customers and communities.
We have engaged with our stakeholders in deep discussions about investment in the critical infrastructure that serves our states, helping guide hundreds of millions of dollars in investment in electric and gas transmission and distribution systems and technology.
While we work to deliver the power our customers need, we also work to protect our native birds that sometimes interact with our electric system. We have osprey platforms located throughout our service territories. See this work in action and keep up-to-date on all nesting news – live from one of the osprey cams.
The energy landscape is changing — and so are our customers’ expectations. As we modernize the energy grid, including using two-way communicating meters, also known as smart meters, our customers will benefit.
